About Us

The Team

We are a Vex Robotics team from Saratoga, California. We have been participating in Vex Robotics Competitions for over 2 years. We love programming robots, building mechanical and electronic systems, as well as solving challenging projects together. We have students from 6th, 7th and 8th grade in our team.

 Due Hoang has been teaching math and STEM in middle school and high school for over 14 years. This is his 4th year teaching the Project Lead the Way courses (STEM A and STEM B) at Redwood. Due is also one of Redwood’s Distance Learning lead teachers this year. In a normal year, he would help manage the Redwood Makerspace and its technologies.

Who we are.

We are a robotics team at Redwood Middle School. We have 7 teams: 95070A-G. In addition to programming and building robots, we also have a Rookie Program, and we recruit people fairly and equally. In addition, we run outreach events to bring STEM into our community.
